Select a file dialog box
This topic describes the purpose of the Select a file dialog box, how to access it and all the settings and buttons on it.
Overview
The Select a file dialog box allows you to select and upload a file containing the WiFi networks that you are specifically interested in using for your WiFi footprint analysis. The WiFi networks in this file are then displayed in the Filtered networks folder of the analysis results.
Settings and buttons
Name
Select the file you want used in your analysis. The files listed here have either been uploaded by this dialog box or the Manage files screen.
Upload a file ...
Click Browse... to upload a WiFi networks file. Windows Explorer opens. Navigate to the folder and select the file then click Upload.
The file must be either a CSV or text with a "|" separator, and must have either a SSID identifier or MAC address identifier or both in separated columns.
Cancel
Click to close the dialog box without applying any changes you may have made.
OK
Click to apply any changes you have made. The dialog box closes automatically.
